By Albert Davidson M.B.E., Headmaster of Lindisfarne School (Retired) in Alnwick.
This copy is used but is in excellent condition, making it a collector's item.
The book provides a very factual and interesting personal account of one man's experience of the R.A.F.'s role in Burma from 1939 to 1946. Albert Davidson was a very active part of the war effort, working on counter-intelligence operations and meeting some key people directly involved with the outcome of the conflict.
The book also serves as a reminder of the war in Burma, which didn't receive the exposure it deserved. Furthermore, it includes tales of football games held during downtime with Joe Harvey, who later returned from the campaign to manage Newcastle United!
